"The Deen" sounds unique - a primal scream, straightforward. Heavy portions of solid rock with
a dash of alternative thrown in. Their songs are skillfully crafted: handmade, straightforward,
driving tempos punctuating a deep, rich, atmospheric sonic landscape. While clearly
possessing a sound all their own, "The Deen" allow the best of their influences to shine
through.
The Deen is defined by excellent songs full of pulsating rhythms, deep guitars, pummeling bass,
and whiskey-smooth vocals, all masterfully composed and performed to perfection. The resulting
sound is good, honest, rock-n-roll; at times aggressive, at times a brooding, powerful force, a
nervous tension on the verge of release.
Their self-titled EP from 2006 already got excellent reviews, their debut album in 2009 "Livin
La Vida Loca Naked" is supposed to fill that shoes perfectly. |
